Tommy Burns is the founder and CEO of Lift Off Labs, a strategy and execution firm specializing in YouTube programming, content strategy and audience development. His work spans entertainment, music, professional sports and creator media, with a focus on building and scaling digital audiences through platform-specific strategy and execution.

Before founding Lift Off Labs, Burns worked in digital media and content strategy with high-profile creators and entertainment brands. He served as head of content for the D'Amelio family, where he was responsible for the development and growth of the YouTube channels for Charli D'Amelio, Dixie D'Amelio and the D'Amelio family. His work during that period was profiled by Forbes, which highlighted his role in building and growing the family's YouTube presence.

In 2021, Burns founded Lift Off Labs to provide creators, brands, artists and organizations with hands-on YouTube strategy, programming and execution.

Under Burns' leadership, Lift Off Labs has delivered significant audience growth across professional sports and entertainment. The firm's work with the Los Angeles Chargers helped move the team from 28th in NFL YouTube viewership to number one in YouTube viewership across major American professional sports, including the NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL and MLS. During Lift Off Labs' engagement with NASCAR driver John Hunter Nemechek, his YouTube channel generated approximately six times the viewership of NASCAR's official channel and, during that period, surpassed NASCAR's official channel in subscribers.
